A Ministry That is Discredited!
2 Corinthians 6:1-3 (NASB) says, “And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain— for He says, ‘At the acceptable time I listened to you, and on the day of salvation I helped you’. Behold, now is ‘the acceptable time,’ behold, now is ‘the day of salvation’— giving no cause for offense in anything, so that the ministry will not be discredited.” When you think of a ministry that has lost its credibility, what comes to mind? I know what initially comes to my mind. Such examples include a pastor who has entered moral failure, a ministry that once preached the truth of the gospel has suddenly embraced false doctrine, or
